Staring A Blog in 2023 – Friday Reflections Week 4

WOOHOO! Wow, can you believe it’s been a month already? 4 weeks, that fast! I started this blog journey last month and so far here are the stats (don’t laugh):

What are my stats from 1 month of blogging?

  1. 2 subscribers on my email list via Convertkit
  2. 11 Published Blog Posts
  3. Started a Pinterest account and publish 7 Pins on Pinterest to get eyeballs on blog posts

How do I plan to improve my blog:

  1. I plan on creating a free guide to sharing on social media as an email opt in, or a journal prompt guide, or even a time block freebie as an incentive to encourage more people to sign up to my email list.
  2. Write at least 2 blog posts a week
  3. Continue to post consistently on Pinterest to attract more traffic
  4. I started a journey answering questions on Quora to also bring traffic to the site

Food for thought –

Consistency is King to any small business or project, this is true.

From homeschooling, to changing my diet and losing weight, to growing our small business Eden Body Care I can personally say that consistency is KING to doing anything. It’s like building a new habit (which reminds me I totally need to do a book review/book notes on the #1 best-selling book Atomic Habits by James Clear)

I live the word consistency, not in an actionable way so much as I am consistent with everything – which I am totally not. But, I can see in real life how consistency really has the capability of propelling anything, truly, into SOMETHING. I’ve witnessed it in real life how consistency has a larger impact than you know.

I hope this gives you some motivation to stay consistent in whatever you do.
