Starting a blog in 2023 – An Introduction

I’m Rosa. I’ve been wanting to start a blog since the beginning of time, since I can remember – no, not since I was a baby but. It’s been a while.

I’ve started a couple of blogs before:
wifelifeasachristian.blogspot.com and heavenlyrooted.blogspot.com
But I’ve never been serious about it and consistent enough. I feel like this is the normal reason why blogs or any business venture does not succeed, like literally – everyone talks about consistency in every aspect of life.

But honestly, consistency is exactly what it takes to run a successful business, a successful homestead, a successful anything. I say this coming from experience starting our first legit small business Eden Body Care.

We grew our small business from nothing in 2020, and now our products are in all the stores at Whole Foods Market in Las Vegas.
Growing a small business is a daily grind, you have to show up daily and particularly if you wanted to start something in the times we are in, social media and marketing is a must The reason I wanted to start this blog was to have an extension of our Youtube Channel – The Hai Path where we share our homesteading journey, gardening tips, and lots of fun cook with us videos making tasty whole food plant based foods.

I wanted a place to create organizational templates we use ourselves, printable recipes we’ve developed and give you all the top tools and comparisons for growing your small business and organization. One of the most useful tools we use currently is Notion.

Notion is a new tool that blends your everyday work apps into one. It’s the all-in-one workspace for you and your team.
Think of it as a comprehensive, impactful organizational digital note book you can use for all your organization needs. We started using Notion because we needed a space to organize our blog topics, create content marketing and store recipes as we test them!

There are tons of different tools and resources to get you started no matter the budget and you’re going to want the best of the best when you first start, am I right?

We will be writing on Notion more in depth in the next few weeks along with many other tools along the way, stay tuned and if you have not already, sign up to our weekly newsletter!
