I started a blog in 2023 heres what I learned week 15

Wow, it’s already Week 15! I had a plan to write two posts like I always do, but I didn’t meet that goal this week. Darn it. This is probably the second time I did not get 2 posts up but you know what, we will keep on truckin’ along.

There are people out there who started just like me and are now very successful. Seeing them makes me believe that it’s possible for me too. It’s been 15 weeks since I started this blog with a goal to make it successful. Yet, I haven’t made a dime.

I am going to stay consistent but I am also moving away from writing posts on promoting products and trying to earn an income from that. I know it may not be the best option, obviously affiliate marketing is one of the biggest avenues to make an income from a blog. But I find it more satisfying to write about what I love and share my ideas. What matters most to me is that I enjoy writing each blog post. As I look forward to the next week, I hope it will be better, filled with more stories and growth. And maybe, just maybe, I’ll start to make some money too.

What I love to share about

For those who may know me, I love food. I love eating, making food, and everything about food. (But I’ll admit, cleaning up after making this food is a whole other subject I’d rather not speak of…)

Because we are a larger family and we are whole food plant based and tend to keep our diet more alkaline based, we like to share this with others and hope to motivate others to do the same because we find this is the best way of eating! We love sharing our recipes on here with you and love when you try them out yourselves.

Hoping to connect

Building connection and trust is a huge aspect of creating an online presence. We’re not new to this because we do have a tiny following through our small business Eden Body Care (our goat milk soap skin care company) and know it’s not an easy task to achieve either.

I’d really love to build that online presence with this blog and hope to connect from people all over the world on these specific passions such as clean eating and small business start ups like ours!

Keep on pushing!

I’ll keep on pushing, I’ll continue to write what I love and document my journey along the way. I hope this helps and if you’ve landed on this blog post, do explore and take a gander to see how I’ve grown. And hey, maybe one day you’ll see I have actually made $1 from this blog!
